WMMR Camp Out for Hunger
Date: November 13–17 | Location: Philadelphia, PA
Join NRG at the Camp Out for Hunger event, with WMMR hosts Preston and Steve. This weeklong live broadcast event welcomes your non-perishable food donations to support Philabundance, a food distribution nonprofit and an NRG Choose to Give partner.
Thanksgiving Day Parade
Date: November 23 | Location: Philadelphia, PA
Join NRG as we sponsor the 6ABC Thanksgiving Day Parade in Philadelphia. This annual parade aired by 6ABC has been held since 1920 and is currently the oldest Thanksgiving Day Parade in the United States. Count on seeing the NRG-sponsored live performance, parade float, and balloon!
Philadelphia Tree Lighting
Date: November 30 | Location: Philadelphia, PA
The City of Philadelphia’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony draws hundreds to enjoy the festivities at City Hall. NRG is one of the proud sponsors, and will be featured in “Philadelphia Celebrates the Holidays,” a one-hour special on 6ABC.
NRG Gives
Date: November 27 – December 13 | Location: Philadelphia, PA
NRG Gives, our community giving program, will be awarding $100,000 to local nonprofit organizations. NRG employees from New Jersey and Pennsylvania nominated nonprofit organizations that champion a cause close to their hearts. Community members, customers, and employees have the power to choose the winners through a public vote. The 4 organizations with the highest number of votes will receive $15,000 each. The remaining 4 organizations receive $10,000 each, for a total of $100,000 donated. Winners will be announced at Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Philadelphia Eagles, on December 13.

Boston Children’s Hospital Ride for the Cure
Date: November 11 | Location: Boston, MA
NRG sponsors the Boston Children’s Ride for the Cure, bringing indoor cyclists of all levels to the world-class TRACK at New Balance. Every dollar raised accelerates promising research and advances new treatments and cures for kids at Boston Children’s Hospital.
Nationwide Children’s Hospital Grand Illumination
Date: November 14 | Location: Columbus, OH
Join NRG at Nationwide Children’s Hospital’s annual holiday giving campaign, “Light up the Lawn, Light up a Life.” This holiday tradition places large 3D glowing butterflies on the hospital’s lawn. On November 14 NRG will be “flipping the switch” to officially light up the lawn at the Grand Illumination ceremony. NRG will also be providing blue butterfly nightlights to the patients staying in the hospital so that they can have a special part of the holiday campaign in their rooms to enjoy.
Lurie Children’s Hospital Radiothon
Date: December 7 | Location: Chicago, IL
NRG is returning as a Power Hour Sponsor of this year’s Lurie Children’s Hospital Radiothon. The live radio broadcast will raise funds to help fuel research, support families in need, and provide lifesaving care to more kids.
Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania (CHOP) Radiothon
Date: December 7-8 | Location: Philadelphia, PA
NRG is sponsoring the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) in their annual radiothon fundraiser, a lively and engaging 2-day event to raise funds to support the Child Life, Education, and Creative Arts Therapy team.
