When will I receive my cash back?
Your cash back enrollment bonus will be mailed to you after your first two months on the cash back plan, and your percent cash back will accrue monthly. You'll receive a check for your accrued cash back after 12 months of being our customer.

How do travel rewards plans work?
After your first few months on a travel rewards plan, you'll get bonus miles or points for your chosen travel membership program. Each month thereafter, you'll earn bonus miles or points for every dollar you spend on the supply portion of your bill We'll send your rewards directly to your chosen travel membership service, so before you enroll in an NRG Rewards Plan, make sure you're already enrolled in your membership service of choice. Once you've earned rewards, you can track and redeem them directly with your travel membership service.
What travel partners does NRG work with?
NRG currently works with American Airlines, Southwest Airlines and United Airlines, as well as Amtrak, AAA Mid-Atlantic and Speedway.
How do I redeem my travel rewards?
You'll redeem all earned travel rewards directly through your travel membership account.
Do my travel rewards expire?
NRG does not determine when your miles or points expire. Rewards expiration rules depend on your chosen travel membership program. Your earned rewards will be usable for as long as your travel membership program keeps them active.
"Awarding in progress" means the rewards are pending with your travel membership program. "Awarding complete" means the rewards are ready for you to redeem. "Action needed" means there was an issue with processing the rewards, and you'll need to contact our customer care team to resolve it.

What happens to my travel rewards once my plan contract ends?
When your NRG plan contract ends, your rewards will still be in place and you'll be able to see them in your My NRG Online Account or the My NRG app. You can also see and redeem your rewards through your account with the travel rewards membership account.
